Wow! Half of 2022 is done! Can’t believe it’s been more than six months since our Mainnet launch! And not to mention that we’ve got some of the best collaborations in the Web3 space packed with some amazing feature upgrades to help build a truly decentralized communication layer across Web3!
The main goal of EPNS is to be the gold standard of notifications in the web3 world. To receive a specific notification a user has to set up a channel by which they can send notifications.
We made it to a wonderful end of Q2! Lots of foundational work have happened throughout this first half of the year in preparation for all the great things coming for EPNS in the remaining part of 2022. Let’s go briefly over the happenings of this month.
EPNS is an open-source, decentralized notification protocol. The protocol went live on Ethereum Mainnet on Jan 11th and it now has 19 official channels by major projects in Web3 including ENS, MakerDAO, Coindesk and dYdX.
We’re pretty excited that the EPNS mainnet has launched. But behind all the celebration, we know you may be asking: “So what now? How do I actually start using EPNS today?” Well, we have a lot more updates in our roadmap, but here’s a look of precisely how you can use EPNS starting this very moment, whether you’re a crypto investor, DeFi degen, developer, journalist, or just a curious cat.
The EPNS mainnet launches on January 11, 2022. With it, applications across Web3 will begin exploring what it means to communicate with each other and with their users in a decentralized, permissionless, and incentivized way.
